QA Specialist

The QA Specialist is responsible for the quality assurance function within a patient support center. This includes the following responsibilities:

  • inspect orders and supporting documentation prior to submitting to the billing department to determine if the paperwork is present and completed accurately;
  • coordinate the correction and re-submission of paperwork returned by billing as non-compliant.
  • Inspect order paperwork to determine if all documents required to process the order are present and accurately completed
  • Quality check each order prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy and patient eligibility
    Work with Supervisors on the development and implementation of ongoing training

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in home medical equipment industry
  • Knowledge of Medicare DMERC guidelines and requirements
  • Detail oriented with the capability to apply knowledge of DMERC guidelines and Company business office procedures to position
